Sun today... sun tomorrow... and even more sun on Monday! Three days in a row- how ironic that the first really nice weather in months, and we can't go out and enjoy it!
Oh, well... I'm thankful we've got a garden, and aren't stuck inside an apartment block.

Someone on Breakfast TV this morning said by the time this is all finished Britain will have the tidiest gardens in the world. Harold.

The temps are supposed to dip quite low in the coming days... I might have to rescue a bit of frog spawn, just in case.

Another bright and sunny (but gusty) day... looks to be the same for the next few days. The skies are so clear- is this the result of so little air traffic at the moment?

Crianlarich. Sunshine! Been in heaven for the last few days, cannot believe it, we have been sitting outside for our meals and sundowner. Taking walks (me in scooter)around the pond just thanking our lucky stars and praying it last for a bit longer.

Crianlarich. What a difference a day makes, woke to lower temperature and cloudy at lunch time we had a hail storm! Ah well the god weather was god while it lasted, now it seems back to normal - Hail!

Crianlarich Well we seem to be back to winter! Snow on the hills. Poor insects and nesting birds in the face of hail storms and very low temperature.

Had quite a lot of rain today, but not complaining... it has been an unusually dry month, and we need it.

A few sunny spells, interspersed with some very heavy downpours in North London. It's helped to clear the pond nicely.

Crianlarich Well we got it wrong. We had made a large order of pond plants and snails, they arrived yesterday to freezing weather, sleet and more snow on the hills. Some are floating plants, some to go at the edges. Just don't know what to do. At the moment we have left them in their plastic containers out side. The sanils are ok, they have been wandering around the plants and the plastic bag. All we are praying for is a day of dry weather.

We seem to be going from one extreme to another this year- flooding everywhere and non-stop rain, and then a month of clear skies and drought warnings. We had a brief but very welcome downpour yesterday, and a bit of a shower last night. Everything is already greener, including this mallow growing out of a gap between the paving slabs and the house. It is covered with flowers at the moment, and they were all sparkling with raindrops this morning. Mallow Raindrops by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

Far too hot for me in London today(as it was yesterday and the day before). The forecast is for a drop in temperature towards Saturday and I hope the forecasted rain for the weekend arrives. We have had some rain but could do with more.

Steady constant rain all day. It rained quite a lot yesterday, and it looks as though we're in for more of the same tomorrow, (unless it's changed since the last tiem I looked.) I've had to move my pots of house leeks into the summerhouse because they were getting so waterlogged.
