9c. Cloud level low (covering hill tops) at the moment light breeze and drizzling, but forecast is heavy rain later. Cold and change in weather playing havoc with the insects and thus the birds.

Cold, sunny with showers, including hail, and fresh snow on the Cairngorms this morning. Where's summer???!!! It's certainly not here in London! Cold this morning- back to two jumpers on when filling the bird feeders. Mind you- I'd take the temps we're having over the ones they are suffering over India any day...50°C! I wouldn't be able to tolerate that. At least our cooler weather is slowing the slugs down, (trying to find the silver lining. )

NE Cumbria 05:15 A glorious start to the day - dry, not a cloud in the sky, a cool 5 degrees with very little breeze. With the Summer Solstice just 3 weeks away, this was our view at 02:25 this morning! 30May2015 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

Yesterday had to go to Stirling. Sunny, hot, people in shorts and T shirts. Back home raining - thermals back on cold! This morning touch of frost, cloudy and been snowing on Ben More and Stobinian overnight. Getting worried for the birds trying to feed their young.
