Great display of Cowslips this morning & some Lady's-smock in damper areas.

Lots of Rue-leaved Saxifrage flowering on hardcore near the derelict buildings at Warren Farm.
Elsewhere masses of Red Dead-nettle, Dandelions, Oxford Ragwort, Dove's-foot & Shining Cranesbills, Field Speedwell & various others.

Bluebells stealing the show today. First at Perivale Wood, the second oldest nature reserve in the UK, where an estimated 2 million Bluebells are in peak condition. Later another fine, but smaller, display in Long Wood.
Elsewhere were colonies of hybrid Bluebells along the rail track.

Plenty of flowering Bluebells again today in Gutteridge Wood, but FOTD the masses of white Greater Stitchwort flowering amongst them.

Yesterday on a grey gloomy day we visited Kew Gardens- again the woods were full of Bluebells, but FOTD-the large colonies of Ramsons/Wild Garlic.
Today in Richmond Park we were looking at smaller flowers on the ant hills with the scarce Upright Chickweed not quite open, Sheep's Sorrel & Dove's-foot Cranesbill.

Amongst the masses of Bluebells in the woods at Hutchinson's Bank were a few other beauties including Wood Anemones, Goldilocks Buttercup, Moschatel, Sweet Woodruff, Wood Spurge & the strange pink, parasitic Toothwort.

Pleased to see one of our specialities at Ruislip in full flower today with several Petty Whin plants looking good.
Plenty of Bluebells & Greater Stitchwort in the woods.

Lots of Yellow Flag Iris now starting to flower at the London Wetland Centre.

A couple of the more interesting wild flowers in Kew were Meadow Saxifrage & Wild Clary.

Lots of Pignut flowering in Osterley Park. Some areas in the gardens dotted pink with Herb Robert & Shining Cranesbill in numbers. Cuckoo Flower in the grass in damper areas.

Pleased to find good quantities of Changing Forget-me-not today in a cemetery on some old graves. A tiny plant with blue & yellow flowers. Some years since I last saw this species.

Lots of Ox-eye Daisies out now.
Pleased to see quite a few of a real favourite- Grass Vetchling in the meadows & quite a rare plant locally-the diminutive Bird's-foot with its tiny white, pink & yellow flowers.

Yesterday on the local patch c35 Common Spotted Orchids flowering, a couple of flowers on the locally rare (only Middx location now) for Narrow-leaved Water-dropwort & some blousy Opium Poppies on some soil heaps.
