Went for a walk along the old railway track at South Clifton yesterday just to see the snowdrops in the old disused garden as ever the floor was white with thousands of them must be the most you can see without having to buy a ticket On the drive back a bunch of daffs flowering in someone's hedge bottom. Here at home we have daffs in bulb, tulips 4'' tall and the latest flower to make an appearance a mini iris ian

The first naturalised Wild Daffodils were fully out on the hill, though probably a few more weeks before the majority are out.
Also noted a few Narcissus cyclamineus in the grass along with masses of Early Crocus & numerous Snowdrops.

A few native Bluebells now out in Long Wood, south of Warren Farm. Also quite a bit of Ground Ivy.
FOTD was a large colony of Opposite-leaved Golden Saxifrage, a pretty rare plant in London. I'd spent over an hour looking for it, after a fellow naturalist friend assured me he had seen it a couple of weeks back. It wasn't quite where I'd expected to find it & had just about given up on it when I spotted some.
