Mainly tiny flowers today in Richmond Park with Storksbill, Slender Trefoil & the scarce Upright Chickweed.

Plenty of colour in Perivale Park with white Cow Parsley, yellow Wild Turnip & Beaked Hawksbeard, pink of Red Campion & Ragged Robin, bluish Russian Comfrey & numerous others.

Lots of bold Yellow Flag Iris out now locally.
Sainfoin flowering well too now.

Pleased to see one of my favourite flowers out now- Grass Vetchling. Lots of Meadow & Creeping Buttercup yellowing the meadows, Some Yellow Rattle in places, Goatsbeard & Common Sorrel.

The alpine meadows in Albania were stuffed with wild flowers including flamboyant Wild Paeonies, Mountain Sainfoin, Spring Gentains, several orchids including Burnt-tip, Tongue, Bug & Woodcock & Wild Pansies.

About a dozen flowering Bee Orchids & a single Common Spotted by the scrape at Hutchinson's Bank.
Elsewhere there lots of flowers including Mignonette, Field Gromwell, Rough Hawkbit, Bird's-foot Trefoil, Horseshoe Vetch & Kidney Vetch.

Lots of lovely wild flowers around the coast in North Wales including Thrift, Sheep's-bit, Sea Kale, Yellow-horned Poppy, Sea Campion, Rock Spurrey & many others.

An interesting botany trip to Ham Lands today just beyond Richmond. An interesting history to the area resulting in all sorts of oddities in the area. Along a grassy verge quite a lot of Bee Orchids at their best.
New for me was seeing a couple of colonies of Sand Leek. Other interesting scarcities were Bloody Cranesbill, Hairy Vetchling, Yellow Vetchling, Warty Cabbage, Dittander & Hoary Cinquefoil.

Walking along the canal from St. Margaret's to Amwell NR a nice patch of Skullcap & floating Yellow Water-lilies.
On the reserve a large patch of Crown Vetch.

Lots of colour in the meadows today with many wild flowers including, Hedge & Lady's Bedstraw, Common Knapweed, Field Scabious, Meadow Cranesbill, Yellow Rattle, Bird's-foot Trefoil, Meadowsweet & one of our local scarcities c100 spikes of Pepper Saxifrage (an umbellifer rather than a true saxifrage) in one area of one meadow. In damper areas Wild Angelica & Greater Bird's-foot Trefoil were in bloom.

Bright blue flowers of Chicory near the entrance to Warren Farm & by the canal a profusion of yellow Monkey Flower.

Nice shots Ian. The last looks like a Northern Marsh Orchid, preceded by Greater Stitchwort. Not enough detail to ID the yellow composite.
My joint FOTD from Richmond Park were Foxgloves & in a boggy pond lots of yellow flowers on the Fringed Waterlily.
