Dublin, IE Dull, overcast, humid, breezeless day. I think it got to about 21 degrees in the afternoon. We could do with a good rainfall (ideally overnight!) and all we got so far was a 10 minute shower.

Crianlarich NW Scotland
Just got back from holiday on NW coast of Aberdeenshire. Apart from first day when it tipped down, the rest was very cloudy, odd bit of sunshine but no rain, wind off the North sea was chilly but outwith the wind it was warm. Kept being told they had a special micro climate? Driving back down Glen Coe and heading for Crianlarich and our own micro climate - rain! However, today 15C intermittent drizzle, bursts of sunshine, slight breeze, cloudy.

Dublin, IE We had our rain overnight, though not enough to make up for over 3 dry weeks. This morning was cloudy and threatened rain again, but it's been a hot and mostly sunny day since.

NE Cumbria After a spectacular sunrise with some high cirrus and a few low level cumulus to reflect the colour of the rising sun, we now have fairly a uniform layer of high stratus but still a bright start to the day. A light breeze from the west and currently 15 degrees.
I spent most of 1972 in Aberdeen (working for the Links & Parks Dept for some of it) and recall a very mild Winter but Spring mornings were often marred by fret off the N Sea.
