N. Westerly winds across the valley are making this hillcrest chilly. At least it is dry. 13c.3c. Not very wonderful....

Oh joy! we have reached the giddy heights of 20C! Bit cloudy but a lovely sunny day. Lots of insects making an appearance, thank goodness for the desperate birds.

NE Cumbria
Earlier...
and before that...
Now the low level cloud has burnt off leaving just a few wisps of cirrus. 8C, no wind, a glorious start to the day - long may it continue!

Beautiful morning (thermals off!) 11C already, just a few wispy clouds and light breeze. Last night was amazing, at 2.00am thought light shining through window was a spotlight on hills. On opening curtain amazed to see it was the moon, low on the horizon, shining bright orange. Tried every setting I could think of with my camera, this was the best I could do PS - already posted this on Astronomy ops!

22C - blue sky - almost a scorcher best day of the year here so far. I will never understand how people can like the heat! My ideal weather is the nice cold winter(I find this winter not cold enough for a usual winter) Maybe I'am just weird

Crianlarich NW Scotland. Keep forgetting to put where I am. 19C was very cold last night with a touch of frost early this am, but soon gone. So far lovely sunny day but lots of cloud moving in and rain is forecast for later. I can understand you liking the cold Alf, unfortunately I am cold most of the time(Medication), so when it gets really hot I at least feel warm. In the old days I actually did not like it being hot.

9C and another glorious start to the day. The lightest of easterly breezes and some pink infused cirrus in an otherwise blue sky. Looks like I misheard the weather forecast yesterday.
NellyDee - I can assure you I do not like the cold - that was alphawolf. Crianlarich - you can't get much more rural than that! A beautiful area. I recall visiting the area during a camping holiday about 35 years ago. It was about this time of year but I thought I was never going to get warm again!
