NellyDee - I can assure you I do not like the cold - that was alphawolf. Crianlarich - you can't get much more rural than that! A beautiful area. I recall visiting the area during a camping holiday about 35 years ago. It was about this time of year but I thought I was never going to get warm again! Lol! getting my Alf's mixed up We have certainly had a year of wet cold weather - broke a number of records on the weather front! But hey things are looking up. Yesterday was glorious all day! Temperature dropped a bit today only 15C but rising - beautiful sunny morning with just a few wispy clouds. (2nd day without the old thermals on!)

NE Cumbria 12C, dry - for the moment, overcast and a NE breeze - what a change from the 26C and sunshine of yesterday afternoon. So it'll be the cycling on telly this afternoon for me.

Ditto Alf except I don't know what direction the wind is coming. The tops of the trees are being blown towards the East. Lucky yesterday the rain stayed off till we returned from walk, then it tipped down.

Very cold night but temperature now 10C Cloudy but bright, light breeze. Clouds appear to be low above the hills, but the rest of the sky looks white - thus the brightness.
