Unmistakeable- they sure are. One we don't get in the London area though does occur on some of the Surrey heaths such as Thursley, though failed to find it there last Saturday.

Yes they are more widespread to the north + west in the UK. I've watched them ovipositing in runnels in the Highlands + the New Forest is another place I've had good views of them.

Kool I'll have to keep an eye out for them round here. As far as I know they have been recorded in Wilts.
