We've had a trailcam out in the back garden for several years now, and some new but less than well-behaved neighbours have caused us to get a security camera for out the front... mainly to keep an eye on the car, (the sat-nav went missing about a month ago). This has the added benefit of seeing what the local wildlife gets up to at night- good heavens, the local foxes keep busy trotting up and down the pavement, in and out of our garden, and are even seen galloping full-tilt down the middle of the road. Last night two tomcats were having a heated discussion on our front path and a fox came in via the hedge, had a brief listen to the argument and went on its way. Spiders are already attracted to the lights of the camera, and look like huge glowing aliens dangling in front of it.

If spiders can see its lights might the satnav people also see it ...? For mine I looked at and thought about one of the cable locks but not got one as so far only used it in my well hidden garden (and rural as well). Ian
