Not a wildlife program but one examining our use of statistics. A regular 30 min program on BBC Radio 4, available as a podcast, on iPlayer or download .mp3. Each program focuses on one or 2 uses of statistics and discusses how the "numbers" presented have been used to mislead. It's not a political program but it does often discuss the misuse of specific figures presented and used by politicians (incorrectly) so is a "current affairs" program. Being BBC it is balanced and has no political agenda. I find it interesting and often you'll hear the original claim (news, press or somewhere) then listening to their analysis really opens one's eyes as to how that claim falls apart through misuse/partial presentation/selective data/etc. Program called "More or Less" www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qshd. Not sure what times it is on the radio but I listed to the podcast (other download mechanisms available). And of course my "interesting" has to be a personal opinion - others may also find it interesting or not ... Ian

I've been a regular listener to 'More or Less' for a few years now.
I agree, it is a very interesting programme and I'd recommend it to anyone and especially if you find yourself saying, while listening to some figure in a news item or from a politician, "Where did that number come from, or is that really true?"
