Good afternoon everyone, don't quite know where to stuff this in the moth section, or here. So if you think it's in the wrong slot, please move it.
As the header reads, my moth trap light source has packed up. I'll jot down all I can see on the unit in the hope that someone can lead me to a replacement, (I'm afraid I don't read German).

I hope someone can lead me to a replacement unit. Cheers, Tony.

Good morning Tringa, the bulb (lamp) I have and a spare. It's the power supply I'm after as water got into it over a prolonger stretch of time.
Just had a look at the website you recommended and £130+ for the power supply is a bit steep!
Cheers, Tony.

More a question than an answer to your problem kleftiwallah. But would an led white light bulb say 5500-6500K not work you'd only need a set up leading back to a power point no power supply or transformer. All my home is now on led lights and in the work areas I use white 'daylight' bulbs I'm sure there more than bright enough to attract moths ian

Sorry Tony, I misunderstood.
I'm guessing you don't use your moth trap near your home or Ian's suggestion(or a variation on it) would seem a good option.

Well, wonders will never cease. After being submerged for a couple of months the power supply was left to dry in the sun for quite a while, gently dismantling, contacts, plugs and sockets cleaned and re-mantled.
With some trepidation the switch went on...and it works!
Thanks for all your advice and comments. Cheers, Tony.

A good result, Tony. Is there any way of waterproofing it?

Hello Dave, only wrapping it in a plastic bag or suitably sized box.
Cheers, Tony.
