I wonder if it would keep using that if it were to rain heavily? (Just thinking it might flood?)
I miss our woodmice- I've not seen them in a while. I think the foxes might have taken care of that... or at least scared them away.

Hello Rowanberry, I set up the camera last night to see of the Wood Mouse was still in residence. It still is. Which is good news. Wood Mouse in the Hole by Harold Smith, on Flickr I think it will take quite a lot of rain to flood the hole. It is quite a deep hole and that particular part of my garden is reasonably free draining despite being on clay. Whether it will over winter in its hole remains to be seen. Though I haven't seen much of them recently I know they are still about because they are raiding the Hedgehog's food in its feeder and leaving droppings behind. Harold.
