I guess many use the Met Office for weather forecasts. These are generally accurate but a little(and sometimes a lot) less so in more remote areas.
The Mountain Weather Information Service ( www.mwis.org.uk/ ) is also well known and although its prime purpose is hill forecasts, it is often useful for nearby areas.

I like using these, (I might have posted these before, so sorry if I'm repeating myself!)
One is wind, and the other is clouds... it's possible to move the globe about by clicking left on your mouse and holding it down. Moving the central wheel on the mouse makes it go larger or smaller.
If this is accurate, it looks like we're in for quite a bit more rain tonight and tomorrow.
It's interesting watching weather fronts and storms developing around the world.
