Welcome to WABI, Bradsdad.
Its not a toad but a frog and looks like it could be Rana temporaria plasticus (the common plastic frog)

Could this be a sign that the environment and it's inhabitants are adapting to plastic pollution? taking on the micro beads and evolving new species. Just think you'll never see a squished frog again ian

Just think you'll never see a squished frog again ian That would certainly confuse our foxes... although they might prefer plastic frogs, and use them as chew toys. The frogs wouldn't suffer any harm, and the foxes would get the satisfaction out of catching jumpy things, (which they can't resist.)
