I saw this a few days ago, (had a few computer issues, so only just now getting it posted) and had quite a challenge trying to get it photographed in focus. This was the best one I was able to take. Web and Dew Oct 2018 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

That is a lovely shot RB, I carry a little bottle of water in a spray bottle that was originally a spray for the bathroom, I have it in my camera rucksack and use it to enhance the webs that I find before taking photos. see if you can find the web of Zygiella-x-notata which has a missing segment much like a pizza with a wedge missing.

That's a great idea about the spray bottle- I'll have to remember to try that.

Hi again RB, This is the bottle I use to mist the spiders webs that I find, it was an Avon product, when finished it was washed out in soapy water and rinsed a few times before actually using it. Duncan P1030933 by Duncan Mclean, on Flickr

I read somewhere a while back that if you add a drop or two of glycerine to the water in the bottle you get the larger and more stable drop of water as loved by many a macro flower photographer ian
