Solstice Blessings to everyone! Now the days will start to become longer again. I've always fancied seeing the real thing at Stonehenge, but I don't think my back would appreciate hanging about in the cold for three hours or so, (and I don't like crowds very much.) I made do by lighting candles in my own little home-made stone circle in our garden... some of the stones came from Wales, and the central one I actually found buried in rubble beneath the hedge when we moved in here about five years ago- the hole was blocked with mud and grit. I have a fondness for hag stones, and have a small collection of them so I especially like this one- it's got to be the biggest 'holey' stone I've ever seen! The hole appears to be naturally formed and goes all the way through- can't imagine how it ended up here, and I don't know enough about geology to know what sort of stone it is. It's like a miniature version of the MĂȘn-an-Tol stone in Cornwall. Solstice Dec2017 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr Standing Holey Stone by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

That is an interesting stone. Perhaps someone who lived in your house before you collected it.
In our garden there are few bits of breccia that don't fit geologically.
Happy solstice too.
