What a difference a few wet days can do to the shroom population they were poping up all over the place today and I only had my phone with me. Rough ideas of what one or two maybe but wouldn't put money on any. Didn't mind picking these there were plenty among the undergrowth. ian. woods by IAN ROBINSON, on Flickr woods2 by IAN ROBINSON, on Flickr

Nice still-life arrangement in your first photo. The fourth mushroom has a very interesting underside to its cap.

I noticed quite a few fungi in lawns today after some much needed rain.

Yes I do, but please be aware that there are lookalikes that are poisonous. Only pick if you are really sure about what you are collecting. Do read the sticky top of Fungi Forum.

In the past I've picked and eaten field mushrooms, blewits and puffballs the giant puffballs are great eating but I've not seen one in years and since I've been photographing and reading about mushrooms I pick all my eating mushrooms in sainsburys now ian.
