Dead moll's or men's fingers? Sometimes it's the small things you don't see until you get them on the computer and I find the tiny critters sometimes captured by chance are truly fascinating. Naming fungi can be tough naming mini beasts who knows. Top right corner fairy or midge? Climbing the finger? Now I always look really closely just in case and it's surprising how often somethings there. Though the tick I found under a shroom last year made me ask why am I crawling about flat out in the grass. 'almost removed the antenna just for fun but that would be cheating' ian

That is an impressive close-up... I never would have spotted that tick! Very odd fungi, too- another I've never seen before.

I have lots of pictures of odd looking and beautiful fungi, I think the bug will be some sort of leaf mite it's not a tick and the fingers were only about 3 ins tall so the mite is just a couple of mm.
