The tadpoles were taking advantage of the sunny weather today, staying up near the surface of the water...they certainly are growing quickly.

Nice pics Rowan! I see you have duckweed too, it's so hard to net it out so it doesnt completely cover the surface because I also end up with a few taddies tangled up with it grrr

It's really difficult to keep it cleared out- I've been using a sieve attached to a long piece of bamboo cane, but the mesh it too fine and it is too easy to catch the tadpoles along with the duckweek. It grows so quickly! almost overnight, it seems like.
I'm going to try one of those scoops that they make for cleaning out cat litter trays- one with larger round holes, and hopefully the tads will be able to slip through.
