I saw that about red squirrels carrying leprosy... the article it links to goes on to say-
"The last recorded case of indigenous leprosy contracted in the UK dates from 1798."
I think out of all the things I have to worry about today, I can give red-squirrel leprosy a miss.
That's great news about the Golden Eagles.
