Nice- it's a female Misumena vatia- one of the crab spiders. I've had a few in my garden over the years- white ones + bright yellow ones too. Sometimes they're well camouflaged, sometimes not. Did see one catch a white butterfly once.

Is that the one known as "White Death"? Never heard of it being called "White Death" before. However, I have seen in being referred to as the "Ghost Spider". Aptly described, I think, as its very white colour makes it look rather ghostly. Harold. |

I've not seen hardly any spiders out and about in our garden yet... especially since the temps have dropped over the past few days.
Ghost spider is a very apt name for it.
