Lovely photos Rowan. Its a joy seeing all the fledglings about. I have 3 fledgling blackbirds which, like last year, it seems to be one fraught skinny dad doing the feeding. What really surprised me this morning, when he was filling his beak with mealworms, was that he chased off a female black bird who was coming in to try and get some mealworm, she had tree or four attempts and each time the male really went for her, so she gave up.

Lots of fledgling here too which is always nice to see, unfortunately the rain has stopped play so Alan has been reduced in rank to cook, cleaner, and carpenter please do not ask, and even car mechanic for the rest of the day stuck in the garage with the mice! Guess what our main PC has now finally conked out so now on the laptop, I must admit though one could get use to this domestic lark, tea and toast anyone! Alan, chef extraordinaire almost an “expert!”
