Got some better photos this morning of the tadpoles... they seem to like congregating around the centres of the water soldiers. I might try giving them some cucumber slices later today- previous years (broods? not sure what the term is for a collective of tads) were really keen on cucumbers. Attachment Deleted |

Hi Rowanberry, Nice photo - i'll try and get some photo's of ours in our wildlife pond too. It chucked it down last night & this morning here in cheshire so hopefully it will have topped it up. I do need to 'farm' a bit of the duckweed out though. I quite like it but it means you can harldy see any of the pondlife of course. We had our biggest'brood' (yes i wonder what the collective term is too..maybe it's simply spawn!) this year, absolutely teaming with the little fella's  |
