They seemed to have had a lot of indecision as to nest or not. Flew in repaired the nest, then disappeared. Came back built the nest up further towards the top of the eave and remade the entry to the nest. Some days I saw them some days not. In our very short few days without rain they were back and forth very busy feeding, then I did not see them for a whole day. I was by now getting worried, but today - no rain and they are back to feeding and I am delight that there appears to be two young ones. So difficult to get a photo on full zoom an me flattened to the wall and trying to angle the camera. The two babes look to me as if they are about to fledge?

That's great that they've got a brood this year...lovely photo of them peering out of the nest.

hope they fledged nelly dee .and hope they have a second brood.rossy. I was away for a week and on return no sign of the house martens. I think they must have fledged and gone off somewhere with the parents. I have been disappointed at how few house martens or indeed swallows I have seen both around this area and where I travelled this month - Arran, Loch Linnhe up to Mallaig, just hope they did better further south.
