Seen in my garden in west Suffolk on 16th April. Any suggestions most welcome.

I thought at first glance it might be one of those false-widow spiders, but I can't be sure, (I've only seen one once.)
I'm not very good at spider ids, so hopefully someone with more experience will be able to id it for certain!

I'm certainly not an expert either but I think it is more likely to be one of the Amaurobius species (Lace web spider).

Thanks. I'm guessing as it was in my garden, it's most likely to be A. similis
