I found these over the course of several days, dropped on the path running alongside our hedge. I am pretty sure that the one on the lower right is from a Dunnock, but when I did a search I read that Dunnock eggs are blue without speckles, so I was wondering if the others are possibly from a blackbird? Looks like blackbird to me. I'm no expert, but I did prise one of these out of a cat's jaws once. We tried to raise the bird on mashed worms. But after a few promising days, one of the lumps proved too big for little Kevin.

This one was the result of a grey squirrel last year. Blackbirds do seem to select vulnerable nest sites.

yes definitely blackbirds eggs. hello all from rossy. just found this site and it put a smile on my face to see a lot of familiar names on it.
