The stills from a woodland camera recently made it obvious something dead was just out of shot to the left. Magpies would come and go in and out of shot,up to three at a time, sometimes to reappear with meat in their bills. By night one or more rats were also visiting the carcase. Finally a badger found the carcase and dragged it into shot where he spent half an hour pulling at it. By the end of the feeding session he had reduced it to a head with a rabbit pelt attatched.

There isn't much that will pass up a protein rich meal without the effort of catching / killing it. Should keep all of them going for a while.
