Thought I would share this cam. This is the fox that has started making an appearance and I just think it's tail seems extra long - (have just sussed how to post videos properly and did not realise if you clicked on the picture it would start the video) IMAG0004 by Helen Skelton, on Flickr

He does have a very long tail... very thick, too. What's that he's eating? I have to put out our fox's food in a dish, else the slugs get all over it.

Now here is the surprise - I put out nuts and sultanas for the pine martens and badger, and that is what the fox is eating. I don't put the food out in bowls anymore as the bowls kept disappearing never to be seen again.

Foxes are great scavengers and seem to eat nearly anything that is even vaguely food. Peanuts are excellent to feed if you want to get a good look at the foxes (and other animals too) as they are too small to be worth carrying away.

Our fox likes to take monkey nuts in the shell and bury them...usually in flower pots.
