Don't think so, Badger footprints have quite long pads almost pear shaped (the pad below the individual pads with claws) and it does not look as if that main pad is, mind the size gauge might be covering the length of the pad.
This is photo of badger print - in snow but give does show the pear shaped pad

I am struggling to think of any other mammal with that size of print (a good 4cm width), 5 toes and long claws. I was thinking of maybe a hind print initially. There was another print quite close but not as clearly defined. Shirl

Hallo Shirl,
I am pretty certain it is a Badger footprint. That was my first impression when I saw the photograph. I've looked it up in my guides and it certainly looks like the ones in them.
Harold.
Ps: If it belongs to a dog then it is a rather large dog whose claws need a good trim.

I always find prints difficult especially in mud where quite often not all the paw shows, cheers everyone

I have never seen a badger print so the following might be rubbish. My first thought was badger from the shape and the obvious claw marks; I think part of the pad mark might have become lost in the mud. Dog paws have four pads in front of the main one.
