Best festive wishes to all, especially to anyone affected by floods. (The Tay burst its banks here yesterday, but happily has returned to its proper place today.) And if you see any birds, squirrels etc lurching about the garden later on, ask yourself how much brandy was in that Christmas pudding you put out for them . . . .
