a quick suggestion for the fungi board, as it is almost impossible to give any sort of an id from just a shot of the cap of a fungi, it would perhaps be a nice idea to have a sticky topic for the fungi board which outlines the sort of information needed to assist in the identification of any fungi posted for id help by members, something along the lines of, images (in focus and of a decent size), of cap, stem, gills etc size, what it was growing on, colours, odour etc a spore print if possible, others members will, no doubt be able to add to this list ,How about trees or plants associated with eg what tree or plant is it growing near or under

and I'd suggest a boring bit on the lines of - "please no discussion re: edibility. Identification from pictures and descriptions will always be tenuous and no one should assume or imply certainty which can't be guaranteed where people's health is in question." I know this caused a lot of problems on WAB but at the very least our hosts deserve protection from any legal consequences of advice given.
