Here in London, they're predicting cloud during the day but mercifully, clear at night, so I'm somewhat hopeful.

As usual, awake half the night anyway but thick cloud every night here in NE Cumbria. Frustrating isn't it!

It really is typical and frustrating! We did have a brief clear spell 23rd but the moon was so bright you couldn't see much else - 100% cloud since.

Outshone by light pollution and a very bright moon. last night . Cold made a lot of condensation on tube so came in....

Same here with the glare from the moon, we still have a few more to look for e.g.the Leonids ( November - doesn't usually bode well for clear skies) and one of my favourites in December , the Geminids, fingers crossed for some clear frosty nights then
