I've noticed in recent days that pages are extremely slow to load. It seems entirely due to the ads and I wonder if this is a ruse by ProBoards to get people to pay to go ad-free? There seem to be fewer people using the forum and this cannot be helping as it is extremely frustrating. Alf

They seem to be loading ok this morning, Alf... but then, my computer can be a bit clunky at times anyway. It has been a bit quiet lately... I'm just back from a week's holiday, and haven't had much chance to post lately, but now that things are getting back to normal I can spend more time in the forums.

After playing about with access to WABI on IE and Firefox it seems to be an IE (or at least what I have since last Microsoft update) issue with ProBoards ads. If I use an ad blocker with IE the pages load fine but take ages to load otherwise. With Firefox pages load fine with or without ads. Since it is important not to block ads for WABI I will access only with firefox from here on. Alf

I haven't been on in a while but all seems to be working OK from here. I use Firefox by default, haven't really tried it in IE, but always find Firefox blocks a lot more junk.
