I'm sure this is a robber fly ...
but what is this? Didn't manage a shot of the face but the widely spaced eyes and padded feet make me wonder if this too is a species of Asilidae.
and finally is this wasp-like insect a hoverfly?

First looks more like a Dung Fly to me. 2 might be an anthomyiid fly. Last looks like a solitary bee,

Thanks Aeshna5 - you're spot on with the Dung Fly seems to be Scathophaga stercoraria. The anthomyiid ID looks promising too but I haven't found an image of one with the exact same pattern of makings as yet. Alf

Heya,
for the middle fly take a look at a female Graphomya maculata, apparently they have distinctive markings.
