Autumn Lady’s-tresses growing at Gop Hill, Denbighshire 29/8. Most still in bud but I did find one flower to photograph, complete with small caterpillar. Jeff Hodgson ALT Spike by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr ALT Close by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

Excellent plant & nice pictures - a very elegant and interesting flower-spike too. Thanks for posting.

Found many Autumn Lady's tresses in flower in South Cumbria today, I haven't been to that site before so I don't know how usual it is for them to be still in flower at this time in September. Sorry I haven't got the hang of adding a photo - work in progress. - my flower of the day too!
