These have been appearing on our garage door and door frame in the last few days. About 5 - 8mm across, I presume the product of an invertebrate - does anyone know what it is?

My thought was also snail poo. It is usually much darker or black but this may have dried out.

Well I never thought of a snail but should have because they tend to be all over the house. I find them all over the house including in the trickle vents over the windows and even in the gutters (it's a 2 storey building).

I've seen colour variations from white all the way through to brown/black the most common colour. I always knew when snails were feeding on my brassicas because the poo was a bright green. Once I found a light blue coloured poo. Goodness knows what it had been chewing on.
