I always get stuck with those tortrids. How big was your first one?

I think they are more difficult as they seem to get quite worn. And a lot of them are very similar. But I am getting a lot at the moment - as my moth trap is set near an apple and a plum tree! Not good on sizes but here is un-cropped picture showing it on egg-box which should give some idea
Come to that I can probably go back and measure egg box! zextra-1 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

Regarding #1, one of these just popped up for id on mothing blog I'm on, and the answer given was Eudemis profundana (ie I'm not claiming credit for the id, just passing on the opinion of others!)

Thanks Wharfat. Looks good. And you deserve credit as most ID help is effectively passing on opinions of others

I was wondering that but shape didn't look quite right. Like I say though I'm not very good with them!
