Trying to get to grips with some of these...
Eristalis interruptus perhaps
Marmelade Fly? Episyrphus balteatus
Awful image but could this be the Heineken hoverfly - Rhingia campestris ?
and I've no idea what this one is

I would say 1 is Eristalis pertinax.
Agree with your ID for both 2 + 3
No idea on last one.

Thanks aeshna - you'll know better than me re 1. No.3 I'd never seen before nor the last one which I wasn't sure was even a hoverfly. Interesting to see if it's know to anyone else. Alf

I knew I recognized your last one, it's one I had before.
Female Platycheirus granditarsus (The males and females look different from each other)
I think the previous name for the species was Pyrophaena granditarsus, which it says in my Stubbs & Falks book.
