Anyone else seen any ripe blackberried yet?
I was surprised to find some ripe, and tasty, blackberries yesterday. We have had a lot of warm weather recently (until Friday when it rained a lot) in the south east but I still thought late July was early to find some ripe fruit.

All blackberries green here (Derbyshire) at the moment, the wild raspberries are only just turning red now

Been seeing a few ripe blackberries for some time here, though more are unripe than ripe. Have eaten a few from a wild one in my front garden. I leave it as bumblebees love the flowers + many things (including me) love the fruit.

My dog absolutely loves blackberries so she is looking forward to the first ones, we have some wild ones in the garden nowhere near ready though. So she is making do with raspberries for now.

Raspberries and blackberries no where near ripening - going further neither are the rowan berries or the haws. Bad time for fruit loving birds and our jays have just fledged - maybe bred too early.
