Snowlynx and I saw this crow today in the playing fields.

Thanks for that link, Dave... I didn't think to send the photos to them, but I have done now. The article mentions that this can occur if the tip of one mandible is broken, and I can see this has happened... I didn't realise that such a slight bit of damage might cause such a drastic result!
I'll post if the RSPB reply... it will be interesting to see what they say.
