Since 13th July we have had about 5 mins of rain, and now it is raining - proper raining
I don't think it will last long but so far we have collected almost 100 litres of water.
Long may it continue.

100 litres! That's fantastic. I put large plant pot saucers out on our garden table and managed to get two... enough to water the house plants with.

Yeah it started to rain here around tea time last night quite heavy but not a lot of thunder and it's still drizzling this morning, our water butt will now be full ian

Just had a big storm and although I got a good soaking transferring water from one butt attached to guttering to another one down the garden, we now have more than 300 litres.

It was nice not to have to get up and start watering with a watering can... after eight or nine trips to the kitchen sink, that thing gets a bit heavy!
