Found these feathers this afternoon, scattered over just a small area- nothing left of the sparrow other than a bit of the head... was wondering if this is the result of a sparrowhawk?

Don't they usually kill it and pick all the feathers out? Looks like what's been done here Nige

Thanks! That's good news- I hadn't seen the sprawk in awhile and was getting worried. At least I know now it's managing to survive, and possibly feed its fledglings, too.
I saw it briefly this morning- it had a go at the sparrows, but didn't catch anything this time.
