Found a dead juvenile jackdaw, so I turned it over with my thumb stick to see any obvious signs of death but found none. However, I did see a Sexton Beetle crawling around, quite pretty things for those whom have never seen one. I know there are two showing red patterns but I couldn’t say which one this was. But then again, I didn’t look that close, far too much smell’ emulating from the aforementioned deceased if you understand my meaning. www.discoverwildlife.com/how-to/identify-wildlife/identify-carrion-beetles/
