My friend and I were at Sandwell Valley country park and rspb reserve last sat morning we saw a good number of birds, including young chicks on Swan pool. A goldcrest was spotted and nuthatch. Red admiral, large and small whites, orange tips butterflies seen and a water vole on the edge of Swan pool. At rspb Sandwell we saw parakeets and chaffinches blue and great tits, Marsh marigolds in the pond with ladies smock flowering. If you have never been here it's well worth a visit and, has the biggest heronry in the Midlands.
