Stills from captured trailcam and I'm pretty sure it's a femal blackbird but the video foraging behaviour was very similar to a Song Thrush and I don't know how much variability the species have. So it is a Blackbird isn't it? Many thanks (and sorry it's probably an obvious one!). Ian

Adult female Blackbird. Generally find the foraging behaviour quite similar between both species.

Many thanks.
I think they have hatched young as she was collecting stuff gathering it in her beak (rather than eating it). Male visited (different time) with a worm held in its break. I assume (and from earlier video) if they were just feeding themselves they would immediately eat what they were finding.

Now most of the blackbirds in the back gardens have dispersed were left with just 2 pairs and see both everyday on the back garden feeders. Both the females are easy to tell apart one looking very speckled whilst the other looks very evenly coloured and very rusty almost reddish breast. Also whilst gardening yesterday I heard the first blackbird fledglings calling from the bushes in a nearby garden ian
