The Woodland Trust have had a webcam on the osprey nest at Loch Arkaig(about 10 miles more or less north of Fort William) for a few years.
They switched it for this year a few weeks ago and today it looks as if one of the ospreys has returned, though it could be a passing bird.
It hasn't landed on the nest site yet but a large, mainly dark and white raptor looking bird was spotted flying close by about 10 minutes ago.
The webcam is on 24/7(so can be dipped into at any time) and provides great views of the nest and, hopefully, eggs and chicks.

It's disconcerting how the ground moves ever-so-slightly as the wind blows the tree branch. It took me a minute to suss out why that was happening. (I thought it was on the side of a cliff at first!)

An osprey landed on the nest and then sat on the branch to the left about 7am today and hung around for over an hour.
It seems it is not one of the birds the Woodland Trust know from last year, so could be one heading elsewhere or perhaps one looking for a nest site.

Quite a bit of activity around the nest. The bird from a few days ago is still around and has been on the nest on and off. Neither of the pair from last last year have returned yet so it could be interesting if/when they do.
