Did not know where to post this. There were hundreds of these snails amid the wild flora on cliff edge facing North Sea, NE Scotland, up near the knuckle.

They look like the common garden snail - Cornu aspersum. Glad to hear our garden is not the only place that has hundreds of them.

They look like the common garden snail - Cornu aspersum. Glad to hear our garden is not the only place that has hundreds of them. DaveI know when we lived in London we were swamped by them, but believe it or not I have not seen a single snail here(my patch), it's every type of slug you could think of.
