Things might be handled differently in Northern Ireland but as the comment below the peregrine incident says, if a potentially poisoned BoP had been found on a grouse moor in England the location would not have been disclosed.

I saw those awful stories on my weekly Bird Guides feed yesterday. Shocking yet not totally surprised. The gamekeeper should have been banged up.
Some good news today from BG- the European Court of Justice has banned the use of glue for trapping songbirds in France after a previous judge gave it the go-ahead as it was "cultural". Totally indiscriminate & a horrific death even for legal quarry which in my opinion should not be hunted anyway.

It seems as though no amount of public anger has any impact on the courts whatsoever. It's going to take much stiffer fines and jail sentences, but I'm not holding my breath.
