The long-tailed tits are still hanging about the garden, and they are such self-confident little birds. One even buzzed me while I was trying to fill one of the feeders yesterday, as though telling me to get on with it. Today one spent quite a lot of time peering in through the window- flying from one to another, and getting as close to the glass as it could. I started out standing in the middle of the room taking photos, but gradually moved near enough to take these. I don't think it was looking at its reflection, (it was overcast today) and I think if one of the windows had been open it might have flown in! (Speaking of windows, I really must get around to cleaning those once the weather gets warmer- didn't realise just how bad they are.) 01 LongTailedTit Mar 2021 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr 02 LongTailedTit Mar 2021 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr 03 LongTailedTit Mar 2021 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr 04 LongTailedTit Mar 2021 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

Great photos and a record of behaviour. It seems LTTs coming close to windows and sometimes pecking on them is not uncommon.
I have just googled, 'Long tailed tits and windows' and got quite a few hits.
